3 Working Principle
Parallel double gate valve is a kind of ceramic gate valve. Therefore, its structure and working principle are consistent with the gate valve, and its opening and closing body (valve plate) is driven by the valve stem to the sealing surface of the valve seat for lifting movement, which can be connected or cut off the fluid channel. When the valve is partially opened, eddy current is generated on the back of the gate, which is easy to cause erosion and vibration of the gate, and it is also easy to damage the sealing surface of the seat, which is difficult to repair. It is usually suitable for working conditions that do not require frequent opening and closing, and keep the gate fully open or fully closed.
The working principle of parallel double gate valve: with the external power provided by the cylinder or hand wheel, the valve stem drives the valve plate to move up and down to realize the valve opening and closing. During the valve opening and closing process, the valve plate and the seat are closely connected to achieve seal.

5 Ceramic double gate valve structure features
5.1 The gate and seat are made of high-performance toughened engineering ceramics, with excellent erosion resistance and wear resistance;
5.2 There is a spring built in between the ram, and the bidirectional flexible pretightening pressure of the spring is used to achieve self-tightening seal, with low pressure bidirectional seal, and there is no jam and ash accumulation in the opening and closing process;
5.3 In the process of opening and closing the valve, the ceramic gate rotates and the ceramic seat is evenly ground, which greatly reduces the wear and improves the service life of the product;
5.4 The valve body adopts eccentric design for the channel. Material vortex will be generated when the valve plate is opened to discharge the material, and the material vortex will clean the plug material in the valve body cavity. The valve body is provided with a purge port to facilitate the removal of ash in the valve through an external air source during the maintenance of the valve.
